Behind The lens and i

The lens and I print shop

Ilana Sallick is the creator behind The lens and i. Born and bred in Bondi Beach, Australia, she now resides in the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne. Her style is influenced by the beach, and her photographs are created using natural light to create soft, airy tones.
Ilana draws on inspiration from photographers Slim Aarons and Massimo Vitali. She evokes the 70’s photographic style of poolside people around the world and soft-hued, beach scenes, focusing on the crowded beaches, reminiscent of her childhood.
Her travel and fashion work has been featured in magazines around the world and she loves nothing more than seeing her photographs adorn the walls of her customers' homes.
